The Design

This step stands on the shoulders of the previous one.  It is in this step that the specific elements of the project and their use in the project are defined.  At the completion of the design work you will have fixtures, locations and applications specified.  In addition, a cost estimate for the materials and labor for completion and a plan for the execution of the design are developed.  It is at this point that an agreement is created and a commitment is made for step 4.
